Last month the Advanced Compute and Data Core team set out our plans to develop and implement a new FAIR data and compute infrastructure for the omics and bioimaging research community at the Amsterdam UMC.
Although the Kick-Off signified the start of our initiative, we have already been working towards our goals in a series of pilot projects, together with the Amsterdam UMC Core Facilities and existing research data management activities. The pilots address specific needs from individual core facilities and also specific elements of the Data Life Cycle.
The event attracted attendees from across the biomedical research community, ICT, and research support. See the Kick-Off Slides for more details.
